Tyler Stover is the Founder and Executive Director of the Hope vs Cancer Foundation. The driving force and engine behind the foundation, Tyler is a former International model and rugby player, as well as a tattoo aficionado. Wisconsin born, the University of Minnesota graduate was inspired to start the foundation by his incredible and devoted mama bear, Kathleen, and her unwavering devotion to her children’s health and happiness. With over 25 years experience working with nonprofits, Tyler is excited to launch a new and innovative approach to both lifting children’s spirits who are undergoing treatment and appropriating funds to leading pediatric cancer researchers.
Michal Amedia-Mourin is a passionate mother, yoga teacher, and philanthropist. Having worked on several nonprofit projects such as emergency relief for Haiti after their devastating earthquake, the re-building of schools and homes for orphans both in Haiti and in Africa, the needs of children worldwide are very dear to her heart. She is very excited to join us as we work to make a positive lasting impact on children who are suffering right here in our own backyards.
Lena Spotleson is a stage 4 cancer survivor from Arizona. After being diagnosed with cancer in 2006, she has made a commitment to help others who are battling through the disease. Lena is a high school basketball coach with over 18 years of experience in the education field working with children. She has her B.A. from Arizona State and Her M.A. from Grand Canyon University both in elementary education. Lena has worked with and volunteered for many charities including the American Cancer Society.
Adriana Adorno is a proud Puerto Rican and mother of three children. She hails from a small family, with strong Christian values. Adriana’s personality and extensive experience working with Puerto Rico’s disaster relief make her a valuable asset to the team. Throughout her journey of life, the road has not always been easy, but her faith was unwavering. God and a few precious guardian angels of life pulled them through their darkest times, and now she is committed to bringing light to others during theirs. Her smile and laugh is a pleasure to be around and her positive spirit is contagious.
